New to the 1Series!
Hi all, I've been a Mercedes guy for a couple years and picked up a E63 AMG. That project is done and gone and I'm looking for something new. I've had my eye on the 135i for awhile but have a couple questions and i heard this is the place to connect with some fellow 1 series enthusiast.
What Ive noticed while searching the nation for my perfect 135i is that all of them are above book value. I know you cant go buy book value but is there something that im not seeing that has all these cars $3k and above book value? I've found one that I'm very interested but a little too high mileage for me but it has every option and the perfect color combo; alpine white exterior and red leather interior, 59k miles with a CPO warranty til September of 2015. Is this car worth $23k?? it books at 21, I'm just not familiar with the values of these cars and how well they retain them? The car is absolutely pristine and all maintenance records. Thanks for any input in advanced and looking forward to owning a 135! |

Sounds high. I bought a 2010 CPO vert with 25k miles for 29k in February of 2013. The best thing to do is to go to BMW's own website, it lists all the CPO cars in the United States with their asking prices. It is a good tool to use for negotiation.

Sounds like you got a pretty good deal. If the above mentioned car is optioned the way OP likes it, plus CPO and excellent condition, maybe it's worth it to him. I'd pay a little more for my color choice and interior.

That's similar to what I purchased. Mine was a CPO (though I declined it for an aftermarket warranty due to dealership "issues") 2012 Coupe DCT with 25K miles I got for $32K. I thought this was bit high, too, but for all the options it has (almost all of them) and how the car drives...it was totally worth it.
