1M Victorious at Ultimate Track Car Challenge
Just back from VIR for the Grassroots Motorsports Ultimate Track Car Challenge.
My 1M -- piloted by my good friend and Spec E30 Nationals winner Robert Grace -- kicked ass! Against stiff competition, it won both fastest privateer BMW (beating a well-known E46 M3 NASA GTS-3 race car by 0.17 sec) AND fastest street car with a 2:06.531 on VIR Full in 95 degree weather. A might exhausted at moment, but I'll post up some pix in a bit. Neil |

Guys -
Been trying to post two pix, but I'm a complete dunce and am having trouble resizing them so I can post up. Be grateful if I could email them to someone who could do so for me or who could give me really simple instructions how do do so. FWIW, the pix are stored on my iPhone and in iPhoto on my MacBook Pro. Thanks! Neil |

Also if you have a PC, just open the photo in MSPaint and use the resize button to shrink it. I did that with some huge photos I took with my iPhone recently.

Success! One more.
Now I just need to learn how to make them a bit smaller. Thanks for the help. View post on imgur.com |

I'm not aware of any listing of the modifications to the cars, and many were fulll-on race cars. However, Grassroots Motorsports will have a major story on the UTCC in 2-3 months that will have details about the cars and competitors. Neil P.S. The overall winner was Victor Seaber in a D Sport Racer Stohr Viper WF-1.4 with a 1:49.xx Max Papis in a Wolf GB08 C Sports Racer was second fastest. well done. what tires were you running?
as well, what power to weight ratio are you. the GTS-3 cars are obviously limited, but are also on slicks |
