While I have the injectors out?

(2008 135i - 135k miles and I bought the car a few months ago. Cold idle issues and idles rough after commute. Misfires)

So, tomorrow I am going to order a while new set of Index 12 injectors. I've already put in new coil packs and new spark plugs.

Anyways, what I was thinking is what also can I do while I have the injectors out?

I was thinking of dropping in a new valve cover gasket and spark plug tube seals. That way I don't need to mess with the top side again and I think I have a minor leak from the VC gasket anyway.

Recommendations?

Valve cover gasket isn't fun, but it isn't really hard. Just don't overtorque those bolts

Valve cover gasket and the eccentric shaft gasket. I used gasket maker to hold the valve cover gasket on, that way it wouldn't fall off when putting it back on. Also, make sure you have the injector tool or a nut + wrench combo that works with the injectors. Pulling them out is a PITA otherwise.
