It would be nice to get a picture of your mileage and any warranty service you've done.

I'll start...

Current Mileage: 11,000
Warranty Services:

- Third brake like strip replaced (cracked from factory)
- Fuel pump replaced at 9k
- Pre-service Oil change at 7500 (out of pocket)
- Oil change at 10k (dealer)

Scheduled:

- Rear right LED lights not working.
Possible replacement of wiring housing needed

Current Mileage: 18700 kms
Services (some warranty some not):

- 2000km oil change on my dime
- New convertible roof because one line of my rear defrost was broken.
- Faulty tank vent valve replaced because it was throwing CEL's.
- 1 year oil change (scheduled)
- Seal under tonneau cover replaced because top was rubbing against the passenger side seal. Also needed fabric roof re-stitched at seam because of the rubbing.

Future:
- Will need to be brought in again because I noticed the same part of the roof that was rubbing against the seal is rubbing against it again.

ZERO warranty issues - had small popping sound over passenger window - but has work itself quite after about 2-3k

but I do have the 'air bag' dash deform. not sure if I will have it worked on or not.. not crazy about having dash replaced. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=286392

I'm sill infatuated over the new Z4 maybe next summer as a lease (: My 135 needs a little brother..

Out of Warranty:

My aftermarket mods ($$$ don't want to add it up)
Repaired hole in Runflats before switching tires.
Broken clamp between downpipes and midpipe.

-Year 1 of the 1 start/stop button installed.
- Fixed rattle on rear-left corner apparently created when performance center installed exhaust before delivery. A bolt was lose/missing.....
- Fixed bluetooth. Installation of performance steering wheel by performance center before delivery resulted in bluetooth antena disconnected....

DIY:
1600 miles oil change

All my issues were caused by the performance center installing mods before delivery. But to be fair, they installed about 8 things so I guess a couple of issues can be expected.

I really live up to my name.

All issues this past year:

Sept 08: After a hard emergency stop the car dragged a rear brake pad until I took it to the shop.
Nov 08: Loose bolts cause my instrument cluster to rattle...badly. Car offroad 1 week.
Nov 08: Driver's side mirror cracks. Defective glass is blamed.
Jan 09: One of my week old winter tires blows out. Only time I ever thought rfts were a good descision. Car offroad 3 days while looking for replacement and warrenty claim through Pirelli.
Jan 09: Long cranks begin.
Feb 09: Car stalls seconds after a 6 second crank. Starts fine afterwards.
Mar 09: Top begins to make creeking noises while in action.
April 09: Car begins to misfire on cold starts.
April 09: Top fails completly. All mechanicals are replaced. Caroff road 3 weeks
May 09: Rear ended 7K worth of damage. Car offroad a week.
May 09: Car rearended again after being on road a week and a half.
July 09: Misfires on every cold start. Dealer looks into it, blames it on my exhaust. I yell saying its OEM, they do their tests and find nothing (typical)
July 09: Misfires mysteriously disappear.
July 09: Third brake light falls out and is replaced. Offroad a day
July 09: Dashboard begins to rattle on passenger side. (unresolved)
July 09: Winshield cracked after stone hit. offroad 2 days
August 09: Misfires return with a vengeance.
August 09: I loose 3 TPMS sensors at once.
August 09: Breaks squeeling all the time. Thinking they might need to be replaced soon.


My car has been off the road for a total of nearly 2 months. I'm not happy about it. But at least all of claims were taken care of by my warrenty. Except the accidents...those I didn't pay a cent to repair. The only times I have paid for a repair were the windshield replacement(done through insurance) and the shipping to return my dead tire for failure testing ($23).

Had the dealer take off my caliper to find grinding noise while turning. Problem was a rock lodged between caliper and rotor.

Other than that nothing.
