Is there any solenoid bypass to speak of with the n55 motor? I know that was popular with the n54, don't know if there is an equivalent here.

Mike what kind of car in the 1/4 mile time? E82, E92, auto, manual?

Put my jb+ in. Took it for a drive.. Def noticed a difference right away! Took it local and highway. Went over 120 on highway run, tried automatic, auto with sport, manual mode, and manual with sport. Left jb+ on default settings. Very pleased with it! Gonna see if it "learns" and if there is a difference after a few days. No codes (visible at least)

Hi Mike, I am new to this. After reading all these test result, its really tempting to get one. Unfortunately I don't have the M series. I have a F10 535i. Really want to try put one in and see if it makes a different.
I have a few questions may be you have answers for me. For JB plus, does it require a minimum of 91 octane, here in los angeles I can hardly find 93 in my area, is 91 will still work ? Should I just leave the dial on default settings? If I adjust the dial to the max or 3'Oclock position, I will need at least 93 octane to make the car run properly. Right now my car drives fine just not happy with the gas throttle, I did use the sprintbooster a while back, it was fun and totally remove the latency from the throttle. Would this JB+ give you more responsive throttle like the sprintbooster does. I always feel the low end torque is very weak. When lights turn green, I see these Prius, Hyundai .. go pretty quick from start LOL. (or may be I am little easy on the gas, just feel why others are faster than mine). Any feedback or answer will be great. I really want to try one and see how fun it will be. Quote:

Thanks for the reply. When you said responsive, does it mean the gas pedal throttle response will be sensitive like a sprintbooster? My other concern is what if i set the dial to 3 O'clock position (Not Max), would I be able to use 91 octane. I have heard people set it up as max but have to use 93 up octane for the boost. Otherwise the car will have problem. Is that true ? I just want to gather all the information before I make the purchase. Regards Ced Quote:
