1 Series Wheel Brace & Lock Nuts
Those of you who are owners (lucky) can you confirm wehther or not the car is shipped with a wheel brace or not and also has the car got lock nuts (if so a lock nut remover?)
Reason for asking is that I found out yesterday with my other BM that it has neither, but does have lock nuts... handy! (so the wheels had to be cleaned on the car instead of off, painfull.) I realise they have RFs of course but.... |

My car came with lock nuts, and lock nut remover. Don't think there is a wheel brace tho. Just a little tool kit with I'm not sure what, as I haven't looked in it.

I got a lock-nut, supposedly. Is in a little home in the boot, under the... ooops, sshhhh. Didn't see a wheel brace, but there's not a lot of point, is there? Oh, I got the little tookit too. A screwdriver and what looks like a tiedown hook.

Same for the hatch. I use the wheel brace from my E30 to take off the wheelnuts.
Check with your salesman to make sure a set are included. Only about $20 or so for a set. |

Thanks Team 1!
Had another search in the 3 series coupe and found it under a very secret little compartment in the inner guard well (under a carpeted cover) ... sneaky. Got news that the new 1 should be at the dealers tomorrow... hopefully a Friday pickup |
