Thanks for sharing!

Is it just me or does the 1M make the e30 look like a toy? It just looks so much bigger...

Awesome pics and a good moment to remember a little bit of how an M3 was looking at the start of its great career

So I just sold the 2002tii, nice car but must be driven on a regular basis otherwise it is an expensive repair bill. The mechanical fuel injection cannot sit, works great when driven regularly. Plus, my e30 m3 was being neglected, another car that must be driven. Had a nice drive on saturday, the e30 m3 is such a beautiful car in henna red. Here are some pics of my just sold 2002tii:

Awesome shoot man - repaint the E30? Awesome pair regardless. Just noticed how amazingly similar the proportions are between the two - looks like you made two very good investments!

EDIT: lol didn't read the whole thing till now - DAMN that's the original henna red on the m3? Crazy upkeep!

actually, the henna m3 was a total repaint and it looks like the previous owner did a good job of preparing and detail. I just did a clay bar after these pics and it is nice and smooth!! I need another shoot of the m3 just by itself so you can see the total picture. Its all stock except for the wheels, but I do have the original wheels stored. It's been about 2 years and $$$ since I got it and put it back into this shape, but it was worth it for a 94k orig mile e30 M3.

I think you still can order those colors through BMW Individual.

However it wouldn't make sense for mainstream sales since newer paints are better in many regards. E.g you didn't have Xirallic pigments back then. I compared Monte Carlo Blue and Estoril Blue last year and while similar, Monte Carlo has a nice sparkle to it and is more dynamic to light conditions.

But this Henna Red is very nice.
