fitment of exhaust
Hi guys I was wondering if anyone could offer me some assistance in regards to fitment of exhausts, obviously if its just a axel back or cat back exhaust there should be no issues however I was looking at purchasing the Berk Technology downpipe back system. Link is below;
http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...oducts_id=3052 My question is, has anyone ever been caught out when trying to fit a downpipe back exhaust to an Aussie 135 because it comes from the States? I called Mike Webber from Prestige and Performance and he just told me to double check before ordering it because in the States obviously their steering wheel is on the other side and he has seen a few people caught out by this because the exhaust doesnt fit. The guys at European Auto Source told me that fitment will not be an issue because this is a simple bolt on system but I just wanted other Aussie members thoughts before parting with what will be over 1k with delivery. Cheers, Matt |

I fitted a riss racing downpipe back exhaust. There was no problem fitting it to an Australian model.

I have big plans for it so hopefully my future 135 will be an M3 killer although I think that is only half the battle...the other half is actually getting traction once you have that kind of power Matt |

Hey Orlin, if you're really going to go all out have you thought about ordering an M1 when it becomes available?

I have thought about the M1 however I agree with Vinney that it will take a while before it arrives to oz so I will just do this in the meantime
Also if I am building an M3 killer, wouldnt it be an M1 killer as well? I cant wait to see more info and some pics released of it though. Matt. |

I think the 135i will always be the most economical, rational and sensible choice if you want to build an M3 killer. The M1 will be the better car out of the box and it will always be a true M car. The only downside for the 135i is the flagging the warranty but you have to pay to play. If I had an M1 I'd probably end up modding that thing anyway if it had decent potential. The modding game is new to me and I'm learning a lot and really enjoying it. Once my 135i is complete it will be more car than I can handle, but I think I'll always find something new to buy for it...

yeh to buy any M car is to have a tough and fast out of the box package which you dont get in any other car however if price is a factor then buying a second hand 135 and spending 10k on the engine and exterior may be a good option because I am sure the M1 will be well over 100k once it arrives here with all our BS taxes.

Can anyone else comment on aftermarket parts that are confirmed to fit or confirmed not to fit our RHD cars?
