M Front Strut Mount on a Non-M?

I asked this on E90 section since I have a 3-series, not 1. I didn't get many responses, so I thought I would ask here...

Is this possible? I have a non-M E90 and if I put M front strut mount, I can gain SOME shock travel?

Check realOEM if they are different part numbers. ( i dont think it is different - unless you mean XI on an I)
Overall - the mount will should not impact travel because its a rubber/metal donut that sits above the spring perch - i dont think it would not impact shock travel...
Changing the spring perch to the SP Lowering perch gives the spring marginally more travel

Well the M mount and non-M mount are different.

Well, long story short, with my coilovers, I am trying to see if there are anyways to gain shock travel without heightening.

in that case, non M mounts will just impact the ride height by 1/2 inch or smith like that.
if you can get lemforder OEM ones in sport trim it will be a good refresh.

I got the part number 31306775098 Lemforder upon installing Coilovers.

Here, they got 3 part numbers. I wonder how they differ height wise:
