Metallic noise when accelerating
I had this noise for the last month or so it just seem to be getting worst. It normally happen when a release the clutch when the car is stopped. It also happen time to time when driving. It seem like to be a ticking noise. I am
suspecting an exhaust line support. Any idea? Thank! |

With no replies in over a week likely not enough detail. If I understand your first post correctly you can reproduce this sound when stopped. Are you able to record it and share here for the experts?

I will try to make a video tomorrow, but I do sound like that "thicking" noise after you shut down a warm car. But it does it under acceleration. It come from the rear under the car. Often it happen after switching gear forward or backward.

Check out some wastegate rattle videos. Commonly happens when you let off the gas, around 2k rpm. Sounds very metallic.
