Anyone familiar with this type of spoiler?
Hey guys,
So I'm in the market for a rear spoiler. I have been doing a lot of research (mostly while "working") and have only come across the OEM style spoilers. While they look very nice and sporty, I was hoping to find something a little more aggressive, unique, and a little taller than the OEM style. http://www.ebay.de/itm/Boca-Big-Styl...2/262513922767 I came across this after a lengthy Google search and is exactly the style I'm looking for, however it would have to ship all the way from Germany. My questions are does anyone have experience with the taller/higher kick spoilers? Do they attach via double sided tape like the OEM style? Is there a US based company that produces this style? Any knowledge on this would be awesome. Mr. Pharaoh |

I too have wanted something more aggressive. I've never seen it. I like it though.

I guess it's just like the Mode Carbon spoiler for the 1ers... Which are no longer available.

So after some finagling, sweet talking, and a lot of German translation I finally was able to get in contact with someone who speaks English for the company carbon fiber dynamics over in Germany. Despite their policy, I'm pleased to say that they are going to send the spoiler to the states!!! If all goes accordingly I will order it in the next few weeks, and post pictures once installed.

I think Boca actually made the spoilers which were sold in the US under Mode Carbon. Good find. I know a lot of folks will be happy to be able to buy these. Personally I think they only look good with the wider and more aggressive bodywork of the 1M though.

I'm surprised that another US company hasn't attempted to make a style like this. Must not be as popular as the OEM style. I am of the opposite mentality. I think the smaller more narrow back end needs a little more aggressive styling with a bigger spoiler, whereas the more aggressive 1M looks better with a smaller and more subtle spoiler. But to each his own. I wish the pictures for your build list weren't from photobucket so I could see that long list that you have going.
