Some people grow money on trees.

@wabbit
But nevertheless...congrats to your akra exhaust.
For me it's too much money. I will go with the Eisenmann sooner or later.

+1, Akra is well known, and that's the problem I think, their prices are too hard.... Eisenmann seems to be a good compromise sound/price.

1844€ taxes included.

Way too much to spend on an exhaust.

IF you buy an Eisenmann get the one without TUV! The problem with Eisenmann's exhaust is in order to pass TUV they are too quiet. Their race exhaust's sound much better. Thier TUV ones sound stock-like.

If I had all the money in the world I still wouldn't pay $10,000 for piping.

there you got it! 5500 euros at the current rate in mexico is $100,000 mexican pesos, and $9,000 dollars, and yes i know its kind of expensive but heyy it's a high end product.
Evolution System, right? congrats to you too!!, i also didn't even have my car yet, it arrives later this month.

I would know, I already do - I'm an individual extremely capable of discerning, reasoning, and using common sense. There is only so much you can do to a pipe before you hit diminishing returns. It is simply piping with a muffler/resonator, and probably $50 bucks worth of carbon fiber on the tips.

EDIT: By the way, by no means am I putting down the product. I think it looks and sounds great, but not worth the price being asked for it.

being "worth" the price is up to the buyer not you. if you think it's too expensive good for you. Remember not everyone has the same taste. Some people would also say that it's stupid to spend so much money on a bmw when a toyota camry can get you from A to B also.

and $10k isn't even the most expensive exhaust. Ive seen "jdm" exhausts for my s2000 costing upwards of $15k+.

Sure...what you choose to spend on anything and how "worth" it is can be subjective to the buyer, nothing new there. I'm not going to enter a discussion with you about this for multiple reasons: 1) it would be rude to the OP and disrespectful to this thread, 2) I don't truly care what floats your (or anyone else's) boat. I was simply expressing an opinion formed based on common sense that many seem to relate to.

Also, since you apparently have the need to bring up your s2000 in every thread regardless of topic, I'm not sure if I've told you this before, but in the large array of cars I've owned, I've had both an ap1 and an ap2 S2000, and I'm extremely familiar with the aftermarket crowd for them. If anyone tried to feed you a $15k exhaust I hope you didn't bite, or that it came with lube. Not only is that almost half the price of the car, but exhausts barely do anything for an s2000, specially in NA form, and I can't foresee them being that expensive for forced inducted setups.

Now good day to you, and let's keep the thread on topic.

That's a lot of money but I guess that is the price to turn Carbon dioxide into a LOT of noise...

[u2b]http://youtu.be/-Qs53rPeWIo[/u2b] Can't embed it with this damn RTE

WATCH follow the link (volume to the max): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Qs53rPeWIo

Does this goes over 98db? Could be a trouble for track days...

There are two points you cant have in other exhausts.
Akra is titanium and saves aprox 20kilos
and also has optional wireless flap kit for the noise.
Even just the 20kg weight reduction is a win.I cant wait.
