Door edge protectors
I'm nervous about opening my door onto the car next to me or the garage wall. I was thinking of getting some door edge protectors but it sure if they will end up looking good. Has anyone done this?

They break the lines of the car but if you're in tight spots often it's better than ending up with a dent/ding on the edge of your door. I'd suggest some clear PPF along the edge and maybe an inch forward, and just be careful with it.

Yes I agree about spoiling the clean lines but I would kick myself if I dinged the door edges.
I am thinking of either these clear ones http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/302150917...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT or maybe these with the BMW "M" lettering http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/152199248...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT |

You can get strips of the 3M clear film to apply over the edge. Won't wreck the lines but prevents all but the most determined assaults from dinging the edge...
