Running Temp, HELP!

So today has been probably one of the hottest days here in Austin, TX this year. Reaching approx 100 degrees. And my engine temperature didn't get past around 200-210 degrees on my gauge in the dash and my coolant temp on my p3 gauge didn't get past 201 degrees.

It's the first time it has done this and I don't understand how it's possible??? Every other time I take the same trip to work it reaches the normal running temp at 240-250 degrees.

How is it possible on the hottest day it didn't reach normal running temps?
Someone please help I'm scared it's the thermostat.

Any feedback will help, thanks guys.

Mod list: 7"FMIC, bms intake, Dinan s2 tune, berk axel back, charge pipe.

car recognizes the heat and runs the waterpump harder to keep it more cooler

200-210 for coolant is normal

oil is about 210-240. 210 being on the low side

Awesome thank you... it reached normal temps on my way home ... I guess when it's over 100 degrees outside the computer tells it to cool more. Good to know thanks again.

Yes there is an ambient threshold.

Stock setting for water pump to go into "high" mode is 98.6*

Mhd allows you to run settings that trigger high mode at lower ambient thresholds.

If you have a Oil Cooler T-Stat Delete the oil temp will stay closer to 210* than the non deleted 250* Range. The car will like the 210* range much more.

As others said, this car will try to overcome high ambient temps with different algorithms in the cooling tables. The cooling tables don't just aim for one specific target number, it factors in a lot of things.
