Without tuning, you MAF will fail to read as it should, because you are releasing the pressure via BOV, instead of it continuing thru the closed atmospheric loop. Which in turn will up your fuel / air mixture. This also causing the Check Engine Light to stay on.

We don't have a MAF thats why it doesn't matter wether its recycled or not.
