Hmmm.. I wonder if an S85 and a couple of turbos would fit under the bonnet of a 1M? ...That would be a weapon of a car!

A lot less than that when its 6 years old and has 30,000kms on it. They haven't given it M handling, just the straight line speed and braking.

It's probably worth noting that cars appear to be more expensive over there. There are 3 e92 m3's for sale ranging from 135 - 160k. Vehicles which would cost about 100k here. Makes me feel far better than when i go and look at car prices in the US!

Lol. This is the plate I've been thinking about for months. It will suite our cars well.

The 130i above has e92 M3 Bilstein Coil-overs, so it's fair to say it has a few suspension components carried over as well to make it fit. I'm not sure where you got the stock suspension idea...

ps: even in stock form the 130i does very well! Kthxbye

BMW do more than change the springs and shocks in M model cars. Coil-overs would help but it still isn't a true M

I'm quite certain the 130i stocker and similar to the 135i in terms of suspension...and the 135i suspension really is nothing to write home about.

compared to porsche et al i am sure this is a valid claim

but for me stepping up from an E46/960 Volvo & a 68 holden the suspension/ride in my 130 is amazing :P

Really isn't even worth a postcard! It's an amazing car and absolutely amazing engine - but so poorly setup.
