I will mate. First time using the GoPro2 and it's pretty neat. I had a quick look through todays run and it's a bit repetitive and for some reason the cars don't look as quick in the video.

Yeah, I agree with you... the camera position making a big difference in viewer appeal - that's one thing I also learnt on the last Sydney drive day (I had mine mounted on the rear seats using a tripod with some nifty seatbelt anchors). Next time I will put the camera (HD2 also) on the front bumper or bonnet - being closer to the ground and/or road terrain makes the sensation of speed (lol) a little more dramatic and nail-biting IMO. Compare videos on youtube to find your own optimum mounting point! Actually, Declan has some on his youtube account IIRC.

Put the video up either way though. Thanks

My video totals almost 12gb so I'll cut it down to the more interesting bits over the next few days...

I think I might try mounting it on the bumper next time. I don't like the idea of doing it because it seems risky but I think it's the best way to video it.

The main reason I bought the GoPro2 was for track days. This way I could record my laps and watch them again and know where I can improve, take better lines etc.

I'm also concerned about doing it that way... but everyone else does and that suction mount is pretty hardcore...

Will give it a go at some point...

My GoPro also came with a couple double sided adhesive mounts. I'm not sure if they are reusable though. I would say they would be a lot stronger.

There is this: http://www.rennline.com/Rennline-GoP...ductinfo/PH01/

Fits the E82...
