3 Series BMWP brakes on 1 Series?

Need to know if the BMW Performance 3 series front brake kit (P.N. 341 104 44 738 ) fits on a 128i.

I suspect they do as each individual part number (back plate, caliper, disc...) matches the part numbers of the 128i front/rear BMWP brake kit (P.N ( P.N. 341 104 44 772 )

Can somebody confirm?

Thanks

I'm curious about this too, since it seems like the rears in the full kit aren't an upgrade anyway (they seem to duplicate the stock parts?).

Ill have my stock 135i brakes for sale next week if anyone wants them. They bolt up to a 128i and are the same brakes, minus the yellow paint, as the BMW performance ones.

Yes. The difference is that 128i BMW kit gives you a fresh set of rear calipers. Same as OEM, jsut clean.

the e90 kit is just fronts.

135i rears bolt on only with 135i rear rotor. you lose Hand brake but i think its possible to add hand brake function according to e90post thread revival. (135i and 128i hand brake shoes are joined together)

I will drop mine off tomorrow to have the brake upgrade to performance brake kit, any one interest in my 128i old brake kit for free please let me know otherwise dealer will discards the F & R brakes. Both rotors are still in excellent condition.
Dealer replace the pads at 30K miles and current mileage is 50K
