Engine Oil Cap Leak

Hi all

I found oil stains around my oil cap area, is this a common issue?

Wipe and clean up the area, still leak.

Take it to the dealer had the same issue.

Sounds like your oil filter housing gasket needs replacing. Very common on these cars. Diy or take it to someone soon.

Actually if its the oil fill cap then sorry not sure what that is... Thought you meant oil filter area...

Nah..., it is the oil fill cap area Sharkatron where you fill your engine oil.

My oil filter house gasket is fine.

It could be your pvc valve is not working properly

The PVC valve is designed to scavenge all the gases out of your crankcase if that's not working it looks for the next weak link which might be your oil cap.
