Space Grey Metallic Color Pics wanted...
Does anyone have any pics of this new color? I realize that it's not on the 1 yet, but are there any 3-series cars that have this color? Please post some (actual) car photos!!

space grey
I know the pictures aren't the best quality, and the color probably looks better in person, but I don't think it's anywhere near as nice as SGM...space gray lacks the depth of SGM, and I really like how SGM's color seems to change with lighting conditions.

The 'M' is a beautiful car, most likely anything looks great on it. Hers' my 2 cents
:w00t: Hey all… it does look nice. Though I wonder if the color is more of a knock-out/gotta have it color in person; or should I say car-son? NO, don't say that. I like it but it doesn't grab me like others say it does them. I don't know what it is but at this one dealership I drive through almost every other day (…just to look for any new 135i colors I haven’t seen yet…), the only car that has not moved from like the beginning of this year is a SGM 135i w/auto, sports, heated seats.. a decent all around package which came in at about $38.5k.
Now I cannot figure out why that car won't sell? Sometime I look at the SGM and it looks incredible, plus it matches the BMW calipers, if were getting that picky; and I’m sure some of us actually are. It's a real nice car, and I think the SGM was one of the most popular colors choices?? This one really baffles me. So now it's got me thinking; here's a color that will be discontinued in a year '1' car. I mean with the space grey thing and all.... So, now I am wondering if 'I' should make that purchase, secure that car, hum... I have never even considered SGM, only black and white; the car looks great in both, while neither is actually a ‘color’. Anyway, with the new Space Grey addition, that particular car would most definitely be a very rare car (but it may take 40-50 years, and we'll all be six feet under). Now if I could afford to buy one to drive, and one to store, ya right keep on dreaming. Affording just one it a stretch. Let me conclude this ramble-on-brain-burp with where I started by asking once again for the people who have seen Space Grey in person; is it one of those... 'blew me away' feelings? Or, Not. Lastly (again), is there metallic flakes seen in the SG as in the SGM? Thanks much, I'm gone... Marty :drinking: |

Nice. That last pic is my buddy from the last track day we went to at Laguna Seca. I was crapping bricks sitting shotty... that thing is a monster on the track.
The space gray looks awesome in person, in bright or dim lighting. |
