it was due to moisture that got into the housing since I lost one of the clips that seals the housing and it shorted out the adaptive headlights

I agree. Mine were crap and the company is even worse to deal with when they DO fail.

Halo Upgrade Problem Solved
Thank's guys,
Looks like I had the same issue. I had to remove the pump closets to the headlight backing first, but I used a hair dryer to dry up the moisture that gathered near my adaptive headlights, then made sure the backing was secure with the b!%@# clips in place. No more adaptive headlight warning |

Yeah, not a very good product. They started out nice, but dimmed over time. I actually switched back to stock to wait for a better option, which looks like it will be the LUXs.
