JB4 Stealth Gauges -- Your Help Needed!
BMS has a nice "happy new years" surprise for JB4 beta testers. A new gauge hijacking mode called "stealth mode", or maybe it should be more appropriately called "wife mode". When enabled the gauges only toggle to the user adjusted hijacked mode once you go WOT. Hopefully will keep unsuspecting wives from panic calling you that they are out of gas. But we need your help deciding which version makes the final cut.
Option 1) Once going WOT gauges remain in hijacked mode until the car is restarted. Option 2) Gauges toggle in and out of hijacked mode as gas pedal moves over and under 80% throttle application. Let me know which video you guys prefer and I'll relay it to BMS! Mike |

I think option 2 would be the best but it just seems very confusing because it requires you to look down under WOT. The high jacking of those gauges just doesnt make too much sense to me. If you are going to high jack a gauge, high jack one of the menu options, instead of gas mileage do a digital psi read out. That would be awesome! JMO

Is the digital boost gauge a possiblity? That seems to be what makes the most since, I never really liked the idea of a guage with the incorrect scale or readout.

late comment, don't know if you guys can but you should program auto toggle so that it would switch back after a delay when throttle is <80%,
ex. 5 sec after throttle <80%, then switch back to normal gauge modes think that would make auto toggle plausible |

I like this option - but with the addition of a variable percentage and perhaps variable delay..
