Engine light

08 135i AFE cold air intake, designator pipe, throttle spacer. Hard excellerating engine light reduce power. Why? Is the after market items causing this?

Three things:

1.) One thread per problem will usually suffice.
2.) We can guess all day at diagnosing why your car when into limp mode.
3.) Our guesses are worthless if you haven't pulled codes (read: pull codes).
