You are actually not allowed to do driving that on top of a building, especially in LA. On a sound stage is fine and safer. The authorities are not in favour of having a performance car fall on to the streets and unfortunate people wishing they were in a 1M ,when going about their business?

There will be another 1M (M2), so it is not just advertising for this car, it is advertisement for the new M car.

I think that they are marketing the brand and the image more than they are marketing the car.

It advertises BMW as a whole, not just the 1M. You may see future advertising along the same line with other BMW and M cars. Why are there commercials for a $450k Lexus LFA?

The 1M is a halo car. At once, it represents the best of BMW and the 1 series in particular.

Regarding helmholtz chambers what us the bottom line?

No helmoltz = more drone (but for track no one cares)?

No helmholtz chambers = more sound and drone (that is the price one pays for more sound?

Why would one prefer no no helmholtz?
