My Montego Blue 135i...

I love this car. More so than my 04 VW R32. This car suites me just perfectly. She is my car soulmate! Yes they drilled the front plate holder on my car after I requested it not be. Oh well, the law in CT requires a front plate. I can't wait to open the car up! The break in period is difficult, but I am following it. Enjoy the pic. I am having a hard time posting multiple pics but enjoy this one.

The last new BMW I bought (Estoril Blue '99 M3), I fortunately picked it up out of town and also made an extended road trip to a couple of cities. That made the break-in go by more quickly.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.. I'm no fan of blue cars but BMW did a good job with Montego.

Can you take a close up of how they attached your front license plate? I'm curious if the dealership does this or if bmw has some sort of backing on the bumper for a front plate.

Go and see Jim, he is very helpful and understood my enthusiasm for the car. No gimmicks, they were straight shooters with me from the start.

Very nice! The front plate actualy doesnt look bad at all. I think plates on one side of the car dont look great but the front looks good. Doesnt the plate in the front interefere with airflow or it doesnt really make a big enough difference to matter?

Thanks guys! I am so happy with this car and I know it is only gonna get better. I have to get the dealer plate holders off the car and put something sportier on. Bavauto has a nice carbon fiber plate holder. All of these 135's are simply stunning and we are so lucky to be driving this wonderfully crafted vehicle. I think I'm gonna go buy some cleaning products tomorrow and give her a bath.

Ah, so the dealers drill into the front bumper. Mine better not or I'll cut their hands off.

But seriously, car looks great.
