Please PM us with your specific questions as we had first hand experiences with the exhausts in your title.

Why PM?

Why not put the information out in the open?

Maybe someone else might have the same questions?

Which exhaust sounds the most civilized for a street-bound 1M?

That would be the stock system. If you want just a bit more, add just the Mad Dad mid section.

The sound of the Akrapovic axle back exhaust with the valve closed (so-called "white mode" instead of "red mode") is civilized.

Thanks HP and Artemis. IMHO, I don't find the stock system to be very civilized. Why, because of the drone. I do have an aftermarket muffler on order which will hopefully make the car sound much "cleaner." I'll let you know more once it's installed.

I have the Maddad mids mated with Remus in mine and the resulting sound is a loud deep rumble. It's also quite monotonous unless you go WOT which would then result in a low squeal. As a result, IMO this Maddad Remus combo does not befit the nature of the 1M. HMS and Akra would be my 2 other picks and I would pitch them this way....

Tenor - Akra
Baritone - HMS
Bass - Remus/Maddad
