I think buying an entire console for 1 game is a waste but I'm seriously considering it!! They made the 135i the most dominant car in it's class and by that I mean it keeps up with the E92 M3 to 100km/hr!!! Smokes everything else as well. Besides that, FM3 is just a great game hands down. The modding aspect is fantastic you really need to try before you buy. I guarantee you will love it though.

I picked up my copy of FM3 on Thursday evening, spent a little bit of time on it over the weekend. Good fun, the Bugatti Veyron is out of control.

But that's what I don't like about racing games, if they make a car different to real life. We all know a 135i doesn't keep up with an M3!

Our cars are a good base for modding, cheaper to get more kw than most cars due to forced induction. |

Actually, it's funny that you mention that. If anything, in real life we have a great chance against the M3's from a dig. Our cars are so much easier to launch we usually take the lead for a bit until the M3 steam rolls past. For example, just because a car is rated as a 4.7sec 0-100km/hr doesn't mean you can run that time all day and night. Same goes for our 135i's, it's very dependent on the driver. You can have an amazingly fast car and stuff up the launch every time and perform nowhere near it's potential. This probably applies to many of us on the forum when we street race but our 135i's are so damn fast we win anyway!

I would love to try out FM3 before GT5 comes out, but I have my PS3 set up all ready to go and it will take a lot of effort and cost to get new console, steering and game. This is my setup. I love Martini Racing decals!

Stock for stock our cars are about even with a M3 from stand still over the 1/4 as previous poster can atest to.
Yes, longer than that the M3 will pull ahead, but that will be lost of licence and car impound territory which most people dont do on the street. So as a fast street car, our cars can match it with the bigger brother. On a race track? Lets just say I understand why the M3 cost a lot more money . |

Haha actually to be honest with you, I got that built 18 months ago, but I have only used it less than 15 times! I just treat it as a piece of furniture. I don't really have time to play as I have a young child who takes up all my time! I also have another PS3 hooked up to the big plasma but it has never seen duty other than being used as a blu-ray player. So despite what it looks like, I am not a serious gamer at all lol.
