Injen Intake and H&R front and rear sways on the way..

Am pretty excited, can't wait to get the intake on.. from the video's i've heard on youtube, it sounds amazing, and by all accounts there are some noticeable performance gains.

sways should be nice too. Have not noticed a LOT of body roll on the 125i, but could definitely sit a bit flatter round corners.

The 125i, imo, is a much better drive in corners than my old WRX's. I'm sure BMWRX will have a say on this, but the 50/50 distribution > Boxer engine effects on cornering.

I think the 125 is a much tighter drive. However, the current sways work quite well - just be careful putting in newies as the oversteer could compound a fair bit...

drove my boss' 135 vert the other day. Seems the suspension is a little more forgiving, my 125i coupe bangs around a lot on sydney roads.

That's the trade-off I don't mind the bumps, as i LOVE the handling

Your boss's vert must not have the M sport pack.. As I found the vert (with the M sport) is a lot more harsher and bumpier than the coupe due to the extra re inforcement and body strenghthening.

Mm, am not sure, i think it does have the M sport pack though. it has the 18 inch wheels like mine (and yours Zuzu), and the M insignia on the door sills..

the ride is still firm, but I just thought it reacted a little softer on bumps than mine. Meanwhile i could have just been driving on slightly better roads.

Or with your head bouncing around 'outside' the cabin you probably didn't feel it as much

hehe.

Must say though, i'll take a 125i manual over a 135i auto any day.

Demoed the S3 DGS gearbox first, being told the new dual clutch were great. It was ok, but left me feeling a little underwhelmed. The drove the S3 manual, so much better.

Gotta be manual on a sports car, would be cool if you could get a computer mod to blip the throttle to match the revs on down changes like the new 370z though.

If you don't mind me asking, what did it cost you (inc' shipping)? Which company did you purchase from?

And here I am!

Yes, the 135i (and no doubt the 125i too) handles much better through corners. Rounabouts I'd normally be working to get through in my WRX I just cruise through in the 135i. And it's even more highlighted by the fact my WRX is running Tein SS suspension and a bunch of other handling modifications, so sticks even better than stock.

wow.. i'd have thought things like roundabouts the wrx would be quicker.

Anyway, from the research i've done the front and rear sway upgrade will improve the handling. If it doesn't work out i can always go back to stock.

Matter of opinion. Have you driven the 135 in AT and MT? I've driven both and decided on the AT...and that was coming from MT in my old MY06 WRX.

I'll take the 135 over the 125 in any transmission any day.
