Exactly. The trannys in the 35 and the 25 are two completely different things. The auto 135 absolutely flies, with literally no lag in between changes and the paddles are a blast.

Just dropped the car off at ALS Performance to have the front and rear sway's installed by Andrew, nice guy. Had some cool cars in there.
Andrew reckons to get the 125i up to 130i power, there are a couple of differences, but mostly it's just getting a 130i intake manifold installed, and then flashing the 125i ecu with the 130i software. Food for thought.

I haven't taken any pics yet. I've got to get my camerma back in operation, have been useless.
Chylld, i'm in Newtown, but i do head over your way a bit, would be happy to come and let you see how the injen goes. PM me. I spoke to Wmj73 before ordering mine, definitely a good buy, and i installed it during my lunch break at work, peice of cake (and i'm not very mechanical). Next thing is to hear how the BMS goes! BMW86, I didn't look at the M3 parts to be honest, the research i did indicated that the H&R combo was well proven to give a good balance to the handling. I'm happy with it, it hasn't effected the ride much, now the understeer is all but gone, it's really really well balanced. Before the handling was great, as i have the M pack, however i noticed when driving near the car's limits, a tendancy for the front to grind (i guess a handling trait they build in since it's safer in most situations, and more easily controlled to have front wheels sliding rather than the rear hanging out). As an example (and i'm not saying the 125i handles like a carrera), but i went for a ride in an 08 Carrera S on the track, and the balance of the car felt very similar to the 125i after the sway install, i just hangs on for longer, the front doesn't grind, and you can manage the grip with the accelerator. It's really really fun to drive now. The sways only really come into their own when you're pushing the car hard though, until you get a chance to test the limits you don't notice them so much. Initially i was worried i'd spent money on a mod that wasn't doing much, but i think if i went back to driving my car before, I'd notice a big difference now.

Hey mate, have you been happy with the intake? Is it worth the coin? What difference does it make to the car?

Yeah, i'm happy with it.. the car sounds like a beast now, i reckon it goes a little better, but the difference would be minimal. I think it was worth the money, it's a pretty individual thing though if you want to spend cash on something like that.

There's a photo of the intake on that northern beaches meet..
as far as the sways go, it's not something that's easy to get a pic of..

forgot all about the sways, should have taken a pic although it's hard to wrestle a camera at the right angle.
video of the sway would be an interesting one, but i'm not sure how best to approach it. probably with the camera on the side of the road where there's a curve, looking onto the front of the car as it comes around? |

Ah, saw that, sweet. Wouldn't worry about photos of the sway bars. Well, not for me anyway...

The sways are awesome.. not really noticeable during normal driving, but when you push it, the suspension is now solid and the car handles really flat
