I usually find most vanity plates pretentious and sometimes mildy offensive but yours are great!

The original FUN 2 DRV was a '97 VW Jetta GLI, it then went to an '01 330 Ci, and finally to the '04 M3 where it will stay for the foreseeable future...

I have to say that the 135i is pretty amazing little pocket rocket!!!

I've always been curious how the 135i stands up to the e46 M3. Does the 1 stand up, or is there a notable difference in performance?

When side by side, you'd think the 135i is the successor to the E46 M3. So many similarities in the styling department.

Nope, it's a good thing. I just find it funny how so many people think the E46 is one of BMW's best designs and the E82 is one of their worst.

Couldn't agree more. When i first saw the 1 in person it reminded me of my 01 330ci. I still love the E46 design and needless to say I love the design of our 1 series.

I haven't had the 135i for too long, but I have to say that other than 1st gear, it really accelerates faster than the M3. I guess that it is a considerable difference in the gearing. When it comes to the back roads, the M3 is king, but the 135i can stand it's own ground. I'm sure that a couple of simple suspension mods would make it even more of a pocket rocket.

So far, I've been VERY impressed with the 135i. I like the E46 design and the E82. Still not crazy about the E90/92.

Need front plates in OH

There is no way around here in OH. I did use a bottom mount for the 135, so no holes in the front.

It is part of the reason for personalized plates too. If you HAVE to have a plate in the front, it might as well be something that you want to show!

Slickshift approves of your garage! I'm hoping to pick up an E46 M3 is a couple years. I looooove them. Probably my favorite modern BMW.
