I booked a Hotel in Heidelberg for a Trip next Year and Take a look at the "Feedback" Site from booking.com and there are many tourists that complain that the Hotel got no Elevator and AC .... That Hotel is from Anno 1720 or something . Heidelberg Must be really a eyecatcher

We were impressed. The Weihnachtsmarkt is split into 3 or 4 smaller locations spread out across different marktplatz in the altstadt. So rather than one large market like Stuttgart you get several smaller markets. Very well done

We plan on hitting Munich this year. It is our final Christmas in Germany

I've never been to the Heidelberg's Weinachtsmarkt. Sounds nice. The city is very nice though.

I also hear the Tübingen (South of Stuttgart) is a very charming one too. My fav's are: Nurnberg(Nuremberg), Rothenburg (Rothenburg ob der Tauber) and Munich's - are all very nice. I also like Salzburg's Christmas Market too.
