Apps have been available since April IIRC and the rollout of new BMW ConnectedDrive enabled apps has been glacial.

Not been that many models with the Apps option. But now basically all model can be speced with Apps. I have heard from people I know at BMW that more is to come now when Apps is deployed more broadly. What I do miss is a solution that works with iPhone, Android and Windows Phone. (For you in the US I guess Blackberry also. Over here we don't use that platform)

Did you just say that we don't use Blackberry in Europe? Or just Sweden? Even that is doubtful

Just to be clear for the US people overhere. In Europe we also use Blackberry We know it is not fruit

I also ordered Apps on my 1M. My car will be delivered at the end of July. I can't imagine canceling my 1M because it doesn't have Apps. If that's the reason you bought the car, you bought the wrong one. I'm just a gadget freak and love the idea if I have to wait for something in the car, I can just play with the Apps in the meantime. I hope they can add a feature on Apps for lap times or that after a track day you can check your telemetry. That would be really cool
If my car isn't delivered with Apps I would kindly ask if they can fix it when my car needs its first check up. I don't think it would be a problem as it is just software (I have the navigation pack). If that's not the case I'll just aks for a refund. And maybe a free key chain for the emotional damage caused by not having Apps

Apps works just fine without the cradle. iPhone cord plugged into console USB will work.
