I just vacum the seats occasionally and then use a clean damp (with plain water) cloth to wipe down the leatherette.
I assume there are many good quality vinyl cleaners and protectants at your local Crappy Tire store if you want to go that route.

I know that it is leatherette and not "real" leather, but i used meguires all in one leather cleaner and conditioner and it seems to do a good job. Brings a bit more shine to the leatherette and probably protects it for dulling and cracking.

In case anybody wants to look it up, it's spelled Meguiar's.

Water is best. Many of the cleaners will damage the leatherette's finish, especially those made for leather.

I've used Einszett cockpit premium and aerospace 303 cleaner and protectant with great results.

What about the BMW interior cleaner? I got a bunch of Bmw cleaning products when I bought my 128i. One of them is specifically for the interior - and let's face it...the leatherette material is pretty similan in composition to the dash/ door panels.

yeah, treat it just like regular leather. It's just not as soft is all, it's synthetic.

It's vinyl/plastic. Clean with anything, it'll look great 5 years down the road. Love the leatherette!
