Well firstly I would just like to say.....I am sick to death of reading about every 1M owner's joys and pleasure's at the wheel of their M's, I am sick to death of reading all the positive press reports and Jeremy Clarkson's love of the steroid enhanced little beast, and I am sick to death of the endless pictures I have had to endure for the past 6 months..........................................
Well enough is enough! After 5 months of serious waiting time, It's finally PICK UP DAY as I take delivery of my first ever BMW! T minus 7hrs and counting! I just now hope for my own sake it's all that you lot have made it out to be, or it will be hurt locker time |

It is an absolute hoot on the track and an addictive plaything on your favorite twisty back road. "

Actually, everyone on here has been joking around. The car isn't really all that special. You will likely be very let down but it's time someone told you.

Thanks guys for setting me straight on the hard core facts/lies/deception/myths/hogwash...
But if it's all ridgy-didge on the night then there will be a fight over the fob no doubt tonight with the wife, and again tomorrow morning when we drive to Cardiff (go the wallabies), but saying all that, I haven't laid eyes on a 1M since early July (other than the many pics on here) so we shall see lol Last edited by Aussie_in_London; 12-02-2011 at 06:44 AM.. |

Don't mess with his emotions. He was just accepting the fact that this excitement (and surely a lack of sleep last night) is really all for nothing!

It sure well could be when I drive out of the dealership straight into central London peak hour traffic and then have to pay the congestion charge when I get home lol

I did happen to watch last night a replay of Clarkson's drive just to see if it was some sort of conspiracy and his opinion was purchased for a hefty sum!
