Yes to change also brakes and stuff like that's really pricey.
Though one thing which I will not touch is 135i body parts. I think it is even cool to have 135i not 1M which has same performance or even better like M cars.
So for suspension first I will try good set of Bilstein shocks with Eibach springs. Bilstein is monotube shocks approved by PORSCHE. They will be very close to oem height of the car. But I think should make a big improvement in performance.

One of the best places I have bought Bilstein shocks from for my cars in the past is: Shox.com They will beat anyone's price on suspension kits or shocks/springs.

I see though they don't have what I'm looking for and they are outside Europe so I would have some problems to receive it TAX and stuff like that

Got my JB4 installed. Did the ISO diode cut before I put it in too. Just running map1 right now. Going to try and install my down pipe, intake and charge pipe tomorrow. Then ill be on map2 or might try map5.

The install wasnt too bad, just finding my way around the bay was the hardest part. Could probably do it again a lot quicker now. Also got my USB cord routed into the cabin of the car so that makes it pretty handy to hook the laptop up inside.

Need to find a weekend that I can get some help and do the suspension.

my big winter mod turned into a spring mod

but finally done. I'll post wide shots after I clean the car as it's a bit dirty now...

Looking at these today when I was making sure of clearances with my APEX ARC-8 track tires & rims, I might rethink having black rims because these calipers look great behind Anthracite wheels.

BTW, these AP Racing brakes are insane...stopping power x3 from OEM...glad I did this mod...pricy but amazing results over OEM.

Those brakes look BA Rick! Although they look strangely familiar....like I've seen them before. I'm looking forward to seeing a full pic with them installed.

Calipers in VO? I do like that! I am wondering how much paint I'd need to do that..

How difficult is the mod? I already have my JB4 installed, might dig it back out for the mod next weekend.

If the furlough is averted, my next purchase is a FMIC.

Was super simple.

Used a small flat head screw driver to pop open the plastic case, there are little indents on the side. Put the screw driver in and turn and it pops open. Then take a pair of REALLY small snips and pop one side of the diode. Bend the diode up so it cant touch anything and then put it back together. Then just flash the right firmware from the n54 tech . com page and you are good to go.

Ive gotta do the e85 wires at some point which will require getting back into the box. I hate that the cabin filter and rain guard and everything has to come out just to get in there.

BTW, yesterday I got a chance to get my BMS Intake and ER chargepipe on. Those were amazingly easy. I figured they would be but actually was easier than I was figuring.

OH and on the subject of FMIC.

Follow this thread like I am....

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=812885

The VRSF 5" is one of the most cost effective units out there and they think it will fit the N55 just fine. No cutting or anything, straight bolt on. There is a guy in that thread that is waiting to receive his and will be giving a full report on how it fits on the N55. If it fits just fine that is what im getting. Hard to pass up when its about half the price of any others.
