9.5 ET40 in the rear? No way.

ET35 with 8.5, you're going to need significant camber to make it fit under the fender.

If 9.5 +45 will work in the rear, +40 will work too, with just a bit more roll/pull. I don't see why you say no way kgolf31...

I thought you said yesterday that you ran 8.5 et40 with a 5mm spacer. That would effectively be an et35.

No it won't. You're talking an extra 0.2" of an inch outward.

If you run any actual tire that is suppose to fit on the wheel, you're going to rub unless you run stupid amounts of camber.

Yes, I run that in the front.

However, that is with camber (-3.6*). You're not going to fit ET35 up front on stock camber unless you don't care about destroying fenders.

Garage List
Kgolf has it straight, but he's talking functionally fit. For sure you can make it work with a stretched tire, max camber, fenders rolled and pulled, and coils pretty much all the way up. The only way I'd do it if the wheels were some sort of great deal, etc. Otherwise get some wheels that fit better.

A good bit of us run 9.5et45 rears. I originally rubbed pretty bad with 245/35 Hankooks. Switched to 255/30 Toyo T1Rs and I had enough room that I bet an et40 wheel would have still been fine. I was basically at stock camber then. I went to PSS 255/30s and even at max camber, pulled, trimmed, lightweight battery, no rear seat, I still rub pretty bad.

yes. It will. Don't hate because stretching isn't your style. With work, it will fit.

Not only it isn't my style. It is a wonderful way to ruin your car and make it look utterly stupid
