I added 2 more but that's all I have. More pics will follow when I get a DSLR camera because these were taken with a little sony cybershot and possibilities are too limited imo. But by the time I get the camera the snow will be gone I think
What I have in higher res (the others were cropped apparently :iono

Overall I'm very pleased with the springs. A little better handling, better looks, low cost and great comfort!

with that Sybershot of yours. Prefer the last one for that striking DOF. Don't think you can do better with a DSLR unless you have some exeptional glass at your diposal.

Wow those wheels are beautiful. Any rubbing issues with the drop?

how is the fittment of the wheels with those offsets? is there any rubbing on the inside or outside of the fender? they look great, I think I will get a set in 18" for my car.

WOW! The shot of the 1 looking down the road with trees on each side is AMAZING! Best shot location I have seen yet hands down. Would love to see the same shot but looking head on at the car...

I had BBS CH's before with lower offsets (35 front and 40 rear) and that was a problem! The sizes and offsets of the wheels seem to be perfect, as other members on this board have also fitted these without any problems (cfr. CSL reps). I guess it only comes down to the tire then as some brand have more of a stretch to their tires then others. Quote:
Thx to everyone for the comments! I'm glad my humble diesel can be appreciated on a board full of 135i's

Couple of questions/comments for you:
How is the ride quality now that you have switched off of the runflats? Smoother? I had these same Beyern Mesh wheels in 20" on my 545i, and I have to tell you they are much softer than the OEm wheels. They bend easy when hitting pot holes and exposing them to salt/snow/grime for extended periods without cleaning them ends up in some serious pitting/staining. Good that you clean them regularly. |

Well I never really drove the 17's (that came with the M-pack) on runflats. I immediately changed them to my BBS CH's (which I had from the hatch).
From the few days I drove them I seem to remember that 17's with runflats are about as hard as these 19's now! So if you have 18's with runflats, no doubt that even 19's without won't be harder! If you keep 18's and put regular tires on, the improvement is amazing (according to someone I know with a 123d) The wheels might bend easily but they weren't that expensive compared to the BBS wheels in which I had a crack twice! So if I ever break one, not too bad... Also I'm not the only one who managed to get a crack in a BBS CH! So much for price/quality huh! I'll see what these do but I have about 7500km's on them without any crack, bend, stain or pit!

No, no spacers...
The high offset on the 1er is the reason it's so hard to find wheels! Most of the wheels that aren't custom made have offsets of ET40 and lower. The lower the offset, the more they stick out.
