looks like the eibach's have the perfect drop for 19's..exactly what i want to go with.
what eibachs did you go with? and wouldn't the drop lower than on a 128/135 since diesel engines are heavier? |

It's the Pro Kit. About the drop, I think it's about the same because i've seen photos on this board from members with a 135i with eibachs, doesn't seem to be very different!

I dunno if I'm more envious of the car's looks or the fact that you got more snow in Belgium than us here up north... oh well.
I was planning to get 18"s for the summer but now... you might've cost me a lot of money. Damn you, I'll go pound my head to a wall for a while. (Amazing pics btw )

No rubbing issues with normal everyday use! If I drive it really hard the front rubs just slightly sometimes, but nothing to worry about imo.

those are some sweet pics of a sweet car but there's no way I'd drive such a nice car in that kind of mess. that baby would have to be hibernating all winter long in a climate controlled garage.

Weather has been very bad for a while and last year I got sick of cleaning the Beyern wheels during the winter so I got some new winter wheels
OEM BMW Style M208 wheels They come as the 18" upgrade (in stead of the style M207 wheel) on the hatchback or sportshatch if you pick the M-sports pack. The coupe only has the M261 as an 18" upgrade option with the M-sports pack in the catalog here. Sizes are the same as the stock wheels on the 135i. Pics (dirty car though ):

Looks great, Boogie! Awesome pictures! Please post your long term review of the Beyern Mesh some time in the future, especially since you are using them for snow duty.
The reason I ask is that I've always wondered how durable they are, having a decent sized lip (looks great), but that they are not a stepped design. I would think they would be easy to deform. |
