How to do launch control on my 135is

Have you looked in your owner's manual? In mine it's on page 57.

A flag symbol appears on your dash if you're doing it right.

Ok it says something above driving 6 miles before to warm up the engine then it will work lol

The car is trying to prevent you from activating launch control before everything is up to operating temperatures.

I've never tried it and probably never will because because I'm concerned about the stress it puts on the car. Maybe I worry too much. Oh and if I remember correctly I think I read where someone said that launch control is disabled if you have PPK. Don't know if that's true or not. Anybody with PPK tried it?

That makes sense cuz I would try and do it like after I warmed it for like 10 min lol

It's the BMW "Performance Power Kit" - it comes standard on the 135is, so you already have it. All other 135i's (like me) have to buy it and have it installed. There are 2 versions - PPK1 and PPK2. PPK2 also comes with some various cooling hardware. That's the one that comes on the 135is.

Foot on brake, press DCT, press sport button, put shifter into sport and shift down into manual. Floor accelerator past the kickdown button and a flag shows up.
