Gauge cluster

My gauge cluster is all out of whack...I unplugged it, swapped the needles (cool factor) ..blah blah blah.....so now, is there a way to recalibrate them? Thanks in advance.

1. You need to remove the needles again unfortunately.
2. Lightly put the needles back on, however don't press them down fully. They should be able to wiggle about. Plug the cluster in to the car without the clear plastic face.
3. Let the car adjust automatically and reprogram itself.
4. Align the needles as best as you can to their off positions and press down to lock them in place.
5. Profit

I have tried all of that. I connected the Bav tool and did a function check on the gauges and it seems the fuel gauge no longer has a full range of motion. I am not able to test oil temp, but the tach, oil temp, and speedo will reset to wherever. I pop the needles off, reset the gauges and replace the needles and it looks fine. Then I go to start the car and they swing to a different spot than they were set to.

Easiest way to recalibrate, and it's always worked for me...
1. Take the housing and the needles off.
2. Plug in the wiring harness. You'll hear something move, and that's the motor adjusting back to default.
3. Put the needles back on the cluster.

You should be good to go.
