My Montego Blue with 20% tint installed today
I just got it home in time for a quick bath and photos as it was turning dark. The tint is still wet and will take a day more or so to dry. I will get some good day and sun pics with the 20% tint if the sun ever returns to Seattle.
None of the pics have been altered and the last one was from my cell phone in the garage, it looks awesome with the light in there. I can not even take out the trash without taking another pic!!!

That looks sweet. I was 100% on AW from the beginning. Now I'm two weeks from production and I'm having second thoughts. Montego looks great! (I haven't seen either in person yet).
Typo...

I am contemplating going the tint route as well. If possible, please take some more pictures but a little further away so we can see the whole car (from the side and angles) to get a feel for the tint. Greatly appreciated. Looks great so far.

It really looks good. Guess it would look good on a SGM 1er also.
Is there any downside to tint? Does it tend to peel off with age? This is new to me so was wondering what the range is for tint. 10 - 60% 20% looks perfect. Man, why didnt I order montego blue..... |

Temple,
Does tint installation require the removal of door panels? Second, to anyone out there, what's the highest quality film 1addict approves?

No, the installer opens the door and installs a block where the door pin goes to stop the window from going up and down during install (mimics door closed when it is open) and heats the base of the window to quick dry that area so it will not effect the tint from the window auto going up and down. A good tint shop should have everything needed. My car took the guy about 2 hours only.
