Request: bmw performance exhaust install instructions
I purchased a BMW performance exhaust second hand. I want to see if anybody has a scan of the instructions so I can provide them to my mechanic. thanks in advance!

Mine didn't come with any instructions even new, but seeing as I did this install myself, I can tell you any half-competent mechanic should have no problem with it.

They don't come with instructions or at least mine didn't.
I installed mine myself and it's very straight forward. I fitted the muffler section first so I could measure where to cut the resonators to fit the mid pipes. The hardest bit is actually cutting the midpipes as there is not a lot of room to work with. I used a special exhaust pipe cutter. see... http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...=292272&page=2

Has anyone else only used the rear exhaust part from the Bmw perf exhaust kit? I am thinking of doing only the rear section too. Just wondering out loud.

I understand how the pipes will fit but what happens to the vacuum pipe from the stock flapper system? Do you just unplug it and kink it from the exhaust or what?
