DP Fix?
Hey everyone,
I'm just about to buy some used DPs. BMS used to have the DP fix on their site, but all links I've found now just redirect to the homepage. I see VSRF has one, and I'd imagine it would work too. Will this be fine to use with the JB4? Are there any other options to consider? Also, the only other thing I need with used DPs is the install gaskets and bolts, right? Thanks! Edit: DP fix found here: http://www.n54tuning.com/index.php?_...&productId=171 and also mike at xp-h (see post below) Last edited by awns729; 03-03-2015 at 01:20 PM.. |

This has been beaten to death buried and dug back up.
The DP fix is ONLY made to help the Car pass emissions by having the ECU in a readiness state. The only thing any tune JB4/cobb etc does is simply to block the CEL lights from popping up on your dash. A DP fix is only meant to be left in for a short period of time as it will mess your fuel trims up.Hope this helps.

I wonder if I even need the fix in NYS, since 1 emissions monitor can be "not ready" in NYS? http://dmv.ny.gov/brochure/what-do-y...cars-not-ready |
