Just a question for you experts!
Want better ride with my normal tyres, not looking for drop at all. Tossing up between Koni FSD or BMW Performance Suspension Thoughts? |

For reliability I'd recommend the BMW PS.
Spring rates on aftermarket parts are going to be about the same unless you get coil-overs and specify spring rate. Koni response on the shocks may be a bit better, but I can't recommend any Koni's as I just blew 2 of them after 13 months. Splitting hairs here. Stick with the guys with the bigger research budget. |

Not an expert, but I can say that for a better ride and no drop, you should leave the springs alone and just change the shocks. FSD is a good choice.

Koni FSD is about the same price as the Yellows, get the Yellows and you won't regret it. FSD will be under damped with performance type springs.

I've been riding on this combination for 22,000 miles and 19 track days, and still love it. I don't think it's under damped. It does feel like a luxury ride over bumps on street, as advertised, but it's very firm in corners. On track, it doesn't feel any less damped than a stock 1M suspension, though the springs feel considerably stiffer than 1M springs.

I've got the Eibach Pro Kit with the M-Tech struts. Would you recommend the FSDs or the Yellows if I'm looking for a tight but comfortable ride and no tracking the car?

Harold, for mainly street use, and mainly I mean 95% of the time and for spirited driving on the street would the FSD be the better pick over the Yellows? Mind you most of my day to day driving is highway to/from work.
