Koni yellow owners, how many turns from full soft to full stiff?
How many turns do you rotate the knob to go from full soft to full stiff?
Mine only turns 1 x 360 degree for left side and about 1.2 turn for right side. When I did search on 3 series forum, I read that some can do like 2.5 turns??? This is confusing me. I am wondering if there is something wrong with my shock. |

I believe the fronts are different than the rears and iirc the fronts are 720degrees. I'll have to look for the paper when I get home. I'm sure Harold@HPA would know off the top of his head.

Thanks guys. I also got confirmation from Harold that it's about 2.25 turns going from full soft to stiff.
I was able to get 2.25 turns. I thought that it stopped at 1 turn, but with little bit more force (knowing that it would turn more), I was able to get all 2.25 turns. Last edited by parky1215; 10-27-2011 at 06:32 PM.. |

I am really considering changing out my BMW Performance struts and replacing them with the Koni Yellows. I will keep my BMW Performance springs. Anyone else running BMW Performance springs with Koni Yellows?

Why do you want to swap out your performance suspension structs and replacing them with Koni Yellow? Are you looking for more stiffness?

I am using H&R sport but will change to Eibach tomorrow.
1.8 inch drop on H&R sport is pretty aggressive, so I scrape a lot especially with my newly installed bmw performance aero bumper (it sits lower than m-tech bumper). |

IMO the ride that the BMW PS gives it soo bouncy. My goal is to stiffen up the suspension some. I am going to start with the M3 subframe bushings to see if that fixes my complaint. If that does not work then I will change out the struts. I am happy with the drop of the springs so I will not change them.
