Don't forget: I got the manual seats and NAV. That makes me extra retarded.

3300 for ZPP. 2100 for NAV.

EDIT: +750 for Assist, which I suppose makes my choices even dicier. And yes, I ordered it this way.

In the end, I saved about $500 and got the combination of features I wanted, but apparently are considered "oddball." I'll go drink $500 worth of beer to drown my sorrows.

I also did an "oddball" set of features on the M3: I ordered NAV (natch) and leather (smarter back then, I guess), but didn't want the sunroof, so I went without the ZPP and ordered leather and NAV a la carte.

Actually, dealers consider lack of a sunroof to be a liability, even on the M3. No, I got shafted on the trade-in, due to:
1. High mileage ( >50k ), meant no CPO
2. SMG also meant no CPO
3. No heated seats (they actually said they have a very hard time selling cars w/o heated seats or cold weather packages here in the northeast)

I tried selling it myself, and got a few nibbles, but people were scared off by the mileage and the fact that factory warranty had expired, and I didn't purchase an extension. I thought I'd be able to sell the car quickly, but in the end had to take what the dealer gave me.

It was probably a nice car since you're an enthusiast and all, but I could see how an off-warranty E46 M3 could present a marketing challenge to private party buyers. 05's with 25-35k would still have a good chunk of warranty left in case the car puked

Nice new one BTW.

Excuse me SIR. But I really loved the pic's. I also am getting white. I also like the color interior. Very clean looking. As I said "DITTO".
I was shocked to see somebody get NAV because they want it, and not LOAD up the car to a VERY high price.

Congratulations...........Very beautiful car with what is ,so far, a very unique color combination.

If I misinterpreted the context of your post, then I apologize, but your original post sounds as if you're mocking the OP for spending money on NAV but "cheaping out" on the leather interior. Based upon subsequent posts, I'm not the only one to interpret it that way.

Again, no ill will, I just didn't want to see a member get bashed for sharing pics of his new car......especially since I'm getting AW as well.

The thing I liked best about your pictures was that I could see the environment around the car. That way I could get an idea on how the car picks up color from its surroundings. Sure, AW doesn't reflect the same as the other colors but still.

Thanks.

taupe more beige or gray? Letherette sticky ?

GREAT Looking combo. I ordered the taupe letherette too for my 135i convertible. I almost went with the savanah beige but it only comes with the black armrest and black under the dash, etc, which all looks too dark to me, especially for a convertible.

In person does your taupe 'ette look more beige than gray ? I find it tough to gauge the taupe color from pictures. And How does the letherette feel: sticky like you can tell it's plastic, or does it give a leather feel at all ?

Thanks! and congrats on your car ! enjoy !
