As far as I know, Dackel was saying that the tail lights are 100% plug n play across all models, including those that didn't have the adaptive xenon package.

Looks awesome. How hard was the install? I just bought a 2011 a few months ago and when I asked a parts guy in Denver about ordering them he said the new lights weren't compatible.

They are compatible, the install is super simple, 3 bolts per light and they're out

Looks great! Got mine today but can't get my tubes to light up. Did you have any problems?

Which version did you purchase? The cheaper ones or the more expensive ones? The cheaper version's tubing does not light up I believe.

yup ordered the wrong ones

Already placed the order for correct tail lights. They look great with your car color. Is it montego or le mans?

There are a lot of pictures here with them on all types of colors.. there are so many pics I didnt even bothering taking pictures when I got mine lol.

I installed these on my car and they look and work great. Anyone buying them, should send their VIN along to get the correct part. US dealers don't have these, not sure why, since they look a lot like some VW tail lights.

For anyone who has second thoughts about purchasing the lights because of the whole DOT thing, I may have a solution for you in the next few days that might give you some piece of mind
