Feel a bit ashamed

Got my car in February this year with 7 miles on the clock, have now just clocked 24,300!!! Poor thing, I feel a bit guilty but just love driving it, great as an everyday car too, looking at winter tyre and wheel combo next.

Vow to that mileage in less than 10 months, I wish I were like you though, don't feel guilty and keep driving You must be turning around the island by the way; are you doing a delivery business with the 1M?

lol no delivery Business :-) I drive to London 3 times a week (150 mile round trip) I also drvoe to Monacco in May and did a proper road trip in it (2400 miles) otherwise I am just off driving it wherever work or pleasure takes me! Do get a bit annoyed with the small tank and range but otherwise it's been faultless. 24.4 MPG now average with my heavy foot, it has crepped up the last few thousand miles

What's the point of paying over 50k for a car if you are not going to drive it. Some of you guys are pretty ridiculous.

Wow! giving Mdorphn a run for his money. Whatever the mileage (over -3-5K) one is absolutely excused... the car is *so * fun to drive... that it's too hard to leave in the garage. I bet most of the garage queens are because the owner has no time... not due to lack of wanting to drive!

That's not spoiled.. that's a lonely auto. I make sure mine gets lots of attention and love!
As the BMW commercial says.. you need to be more well rounded in 2013.. (around corners that is..)

just realized I haven't posted my own mileage in THIS thread.
12,681 as of my dealer oil change this morning.

Challenge is I usually travel 4 days a week, and driving it on weekends on Miami streets is not fun at all, it's actually sad as you can't really enjoy it. If you add to that the limited availability of fun roads to drive in South FL...

Wondering what the other South Floridian 1M'ers do to enjoy theirs.

So my way of enjoying it is taking it to the track (we do have a couple good tracks around South Florida).

I live in an small Island of the caribbean, Puerto Rico. Rains almost every day, the roads are horrible and people drives like crazy. Sometimes is more fun not to drive it here. By the way, my car have the following mods with that low mileage...

* KW Clubsport Coilovers
* Volk Racing TE37SL in Diamond Black
* Macht Schnell Competition Wheel Studs
* Project Kics R40 Racing Composite Lug Nuts
* Eisenmann 4 x 83mm Race Full Exhaust System
* RevoZport Rear Diffuser with Ground Effect Panel
* BMW Performance High-Gloss Black Front Grills
* IND 1M Gloss Black Side Grilles
* aFe Dynamic Air Scoops
* BMS Clutch Stop
* P3Cars Vent Integrated Digital Boost Gauge
* BMW Rubber Floor Mats
* BMW Fitted Luggage Compartment Mat
* BMW Stainless Steel Pedals
* Escort Passport 9500ix Hardwired

Just go find a bigger island and take the 1M with you. Look how well the UK guys are doing

Shoot, at least 1,000 of those miles would have been from Dallas to Topeka and back last June when you were one of the instructors at Heartland Park.

Mine just clocked 14K and it hasn't been on any long trips to speak of, other than a couple of 300 mile round trips to central Missouri, which included a nice run of twisty blacktop alongside the Missouri River.

Around 9800 miles as at mid December. However I've not driven the car for a couple of weeks but will be correcting that with a blat this weekend!

1400 miles on ED sept 2011
850 miles PCD to home dec2011
Another 9000 since

About 11,000 miles since sept 2011, but that really about 12 months of ownership

But, I just got a DD to keep it off the rough New England roads for the winter. So NOW it's a garage queen for few months - I look and shed a tear each morning I can't drive it.

Mine has just over 28,000 km since July 2011. About 95% of that is highway cruising. I do full throttle 4th gear blasts for fun.

No, it wasn't a bad mistake because if I am not wrong you bought a 135i, this funny thread is all about 1M mileage, that's why they are all relatively low
