Shift indicator up/down?

Hi,

A few months back I had my 135i coded for a few things including shift indicator. It is more a novelty than anything, but I figured since it could be enabled, why not.

Upshift indicator works great. No issues.

But it never indicates a time to downshift. No matter what I do. There is an up and down arrow in the display, and it gives a numeric suggestion of gear to pick. Never recommends a lower one.

Is that the case? Does the shift indicator ever suggest a downshift, or do I need to update the coding somehow?

I have the same thing coded and I've only noticed a downshift request ONCE over a full year with 2 different 135i's. I have no idea what makes it request a DS that makes them so rare.

The shift suggest is to optimize fuel efficiency. I don't think it suggests a downshift until something like 800rpm, maybe kess
