Which center cap?

My wheels were made in 2003 so the center caps are somewhat beat up. I'm considering replacing them with the same model or the "time attack" model below. Which do y'all prefer? (These two photos show how much I've lowered the car also)

None of the above.
Proper roundels or at least this to go with your look.

I assume roundels won't fit the Volks. I do like those though, maybe I should look into roundels, they'd definitely be cheaper.

I can't imagine Volk doesn't use or offer BMW center caps. Did you try the OEMs?

I don't have the originals anymore, I traded my stock wheels towards these. Y'all may have a good idea, I'll look into it first, then probably go with the Volk Time Attack ones if roundels similar to the above are not an option.

I had Volks on my E46 M3. I didn't like anything they offered. At least they were only $125

I say Modify blank volk caps with OEM centercaps. There was another M3 with OEM's that were modified and glued on volk blanks, they looked very nice...

Sorry Mega, that's just a pic from Google. You'll have to find who sells them, but I'm sure someone does.

I just opened a box and took a picture of one. They have a very nice 2x2 weave.

I notice Anthony doesn't mention that they'll fit my Volks. Oh well, I think I'll go without caps for a few more weeks and think about it. The Volk Time Attacks are $179 so once I buy them I'm stuck with them for a long time at that price.

Sorry about that. Unfortunately I don't think these will fit the Volks wheels. They only fit on wheels that have OEM center cap sizing (VMR for example.)

Slightly off-topic from the original post, but I felt this would be good knowledge for the forum and especially those interested in the great center caps that anthony @ eas is showcasing:

From the thread: Let's Install the New Style Wheel Logo Roundels, we find 2 different roundels.

Now, I have a 2009 135i, and can clearly tell that my roundels are of the "newer" variety.

While anthony @ eas' center caps do appear to look like the "newer" center caps, the tabs or clips on the bottom look very different from the OEM. Maybe it's just me being finicky, just looking for information. Are the ones pictured from anthony @ eas the ones to fit our car?

Thank you for your replies, sorry for the and thanks for the great, prompt PM's anthony @ eas. Sorry for putting you on the spot in this thread, but it looks like a solid product I just thought the rest of the forum could use information on as well.

The carbon fibre ones that we have are the "older" models ('08 and back). We do not have any "new" models ('09 and up) in carbon, we only have them in the OEM blue. However, the older ones will fit the newer wheels and vice versa.

I took some more pictures to show the differences.

On the old model, the outermost surrounding ring is a grey plastic, not chrome. If you guys have any more questions just let me know.

Will you be getting any of the carbon fiber ones in the "new" style?
